Office Policies

Appointment Policies

In order to respect the time of our patients, appointments are made and a specific period of time is reserved for your treatment. Unless an emergency arises we never “over-sell” our capacity. For this reason missed or forgotten appointments create a real problem for us and result in costs that are difficult to absorb. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Should you find it necessary to change an appointment, please contact our office at your earliest opportunity. Given sufficient notice we may be able to use the time for another patient waiting to see the doctor.

With few exceptions, our appointment coordinator is available during normal office hours. Please call (847) 253-7000 to schedule or change an appointment.

Financial Policy

We are committed to making quality dentistry available to all of our patients. However, we must at the same time control our credit costs. Therefore, we request that payment be made at the time of service.

Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but not all of the cost of your dental care. Most plans include coinsurance provisions, a deductible, and certain other expenses which must be paid by the patient at the time of services. Reimbursement amounts are not, and never have been, a guideline for quality care.

Please bring your insurance plan information with you each visit. We will work with you to ensure that you receive the maximum benefits to which you are entitled.

Payment is expected at time of service. If you have insurance, you will be expected to make an estimated payment for that portion not covered by your insurance plan. For that portion of costs not covered by insurance, we accept:

  • Cash or Personal Check
  • Credit Card – American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
  • PreDetermined Payment Arrangement
  • Care Credit

If you have any questions about payment options, please call our business coordinator, Mary, at (847) 253-7000.
